The Forum to Commemorate the 70th Anniversary of Victory of WWII
AThe Association for Preserving Historical Accuracy of
Foreign Invasions in China (APHAFIC) will hold an afternoon event to
commemorate the 70th anniversary of victory of WWII on October
17th, Saturday from 2:00pm-5:30pm at Price Center West Theater UCSD,
co-organized with UCSD Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA).

Point Loma History Awards Banquet
Ten Point Loma High School students of history class of Mr. Patrick McElhaney, Social Studies Department, Point Loma High School, were recognized for essays they wrote about their reflection after watching the movie "Nanking" at the 10th Annual Point Loma History Awards Banquet at Bali Hai Restaurant in the evening of June 2nd, 2015. APHAFIC Thirteenth Annual Meeting
This year's Annual Meeting will be held at 6:30pm,
Saturday, May 30th at the China Max Restaurant, 4698 Convoy St., San Diego,
CA. Featured speaker Ms. Satoko Oka Norimatsu (乗松聰子) speaks on "The
significance of the 70th year of the end of the Asia-Pacific War -towards
reconciliation and peace in East Asia" .
This talk will cover the role that citizens of the United States and Canada
who have close connection to Asia can play in order to foster peace,
understanding, and reconciliation in the region when the Japanese government
led by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has aggravated the distrust by Asian
neighbors by its repeated denial and distortion of WWII history. Click here

APHAFIC Winter Meeting 2015
The APHAFIC Winter meeting was held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from
1:30am - 3:30pm at the La Jolla/Riford Branch Library, 7555 Draper Ave in La
Jolla. The guest speaker was Jen-shih Lee (李仁師), the CEO of World for
Mankind Foundation, who spoke on the "Victory for Mankind, 仁師義戰與世界和平".
